This Glendfield property renovation transformed a dated and disconnected layout into a spacious, modern family home. The original kitchen was closed off, with a tight dining area and small living room that did not reflect the true size of the house. By incorporating an underused bedroom, we created a much larger and more luxurious living space with a modern open plan kitchen. The renovation also included a beautiful new family bathroom designed with a premium, contemporary finish. The entire project was completed in just seven weeks, ready just in time for Christmas entertaining. The result is a bright, open, and functional home that finally matches the lifestyle and potential of the property.

After meeting James Goren, the decision was made to enhance the existing property and unlock its full potential. The kitchen was completely reorganised into a modern, open, and highly functional space designed for entertaining. The most powerful part of this project was the customer’s reaction at the end. The owners had wanted to renovate for many years, but previous quotes had pushed the project well beyond their budget, so the home remained largely untouched for almost a decade. Once the renovation was finally completed, including the modernised bathrooms, square stopped upstairs ceilings, new master bedroom ceiling, walk in wardrobe, luxury laundry, polished American oak flooring, fresh painting, new carpet and outdoor decking, the owners were thrilled. Their only comment was, “We should have done this 10 years ago.” That is the real value of a well planned renovation: not just improving the property, but improving the way people live in it every day.
